After a long journey, José de Mora looks back and can proudly say that a large number of prestigious international firms have placed their trust in his know-how.

The Andalusian designer constantly affirms that, for him, a shoe is like a work of art. And as with any good work, the maturation process is long and exciting. His sources of inspiration are multiple, but they always start from a common base: his roots in the Andalusian town of Valverde del Camino, an area with more than 150 years of shoemaking tradition.

José de Mora says that drawing inspiration from Andalusia is one of his secrets. There, he says, “art is endless and there is always something new that makes you create. You can go to Italy, to France; you can visit Paris, London, Venice, but this confluence of cultures and wisdom, and this art that exists in Andalusia is a source of wealth for creativity. A designer is not really good if he does not get to know Andalusia.”

José de Mora says that drawing inspiration from Andalusia is one of his secrets. There, he says, “art is endless and there is always something new that makes you create. To create a unique piece, you must first love the design, then create it, and then carry out a methodical and perfect elaboration, always making each work a unique piece. This is why many shoes have come from his hands, worn by celebrities around the world. The construction of a good pair of shoes is based on three fundamental premises: its elegant design, his adaptability to the foot and a exceptional finish, resulting in a quality and luxury item.

As a manufacturer, the footwear goes through the entire process in one physical place: his factory in Valverde del Camino. There, a group of shoemakers supervised by himself are in charge of bringing the project to life. Starting with an inspiration, this is captured in a sketch, then the pieces that make up the model are made and finally it is finished with a careful and artisanal production.

With the range of products JOSE DE MORA, this designer sees his dreams come true: being able to carry out a project with his creative line. It is exciting that, while designing for major brands, the designer from Huelva wants to express his knowledge in a completely original product with his seal. It is a classic shoe, inspired by Andalusia and Spain and with a new air. “A shoe is like a work of art,” says José. “You want it even before it is born, when the idea is already in your head.”

That is why they have launched an exclusive website for them, where these unique products can be purchased: www.josedemora.com.The brand JOSE DE MORA It is very well received by foreign customers for its quality and finishes and, with a firm footing, it is entering the national market. It has two well-differentiated lines, one for the male sector (Oxford style shoes, Blucher, Moccasins, Buckle...) and another for the demanding female clientele.

All products that leave the workshop have passed rigorous quality controls and are designed to fit the foot perfectly. In addition, designing a custom shoe to the client's taste and with their exact measurements requires a high degree of specialization and concentration. In short, during the process a "small work of art" is created until it is born and shines on the client's foot.

Let us hope that this journey continues as well as it began.
