Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and future Queen of the United Kingdom, has taken advantage of a visit to a farm in Northern Ireland (The Ark Open Farm) to show off her country-style boots again, inspired by the typical Valverde del Camino boots. Kate has had several pairs of these types of boots in her wardrobe for more than 15 years, and although we hadn't seen her wearing them for a while, at the beginning of 2020 she seems to have decided to wear them again at public events.

As you can see in the picture, the boots are made with a high shaft, track sole and a side zip with fringe decoration. The brand behind this model was born in London but its creator Penelope Chilver lived for a long time in Spain, where she worked side by side with the master shoe craftsmen of Valverde del Camino (Huelva). On her return to England she wanted to take with her what she had learned and make her own line of boots, inspired by the typical riding boots that companies like ours make every day in Valverde del Camino.

Without a doubt, it is an honour for us and for all the shoe and leather artisans in our city that such a highly relevant figure in the world chooses to dress his feet in the unmistakable boots that we have traditionally made in our land since the 19th century.
